In A Song of Transformation, Dennis Scholl weaves together elements of mythology, nature, and personal imagination into a dreamlike scene. Amid intertwining snakes, a gnarled tree, and a solitary wanderer, a world unfolds in which transformation seems ever-present. The luminous colors and intricate detail lend the drawing a rich narrative quality, while the boundaries between reality, memory, and fantasy remain deliberately open.
