International Women's Day

To celebrate International Women’s Day, we present a special selection dedicated to the women artists in the FRIDAY BIRD universe. Their works reflect a wide range of voices, perspectives, and artistic approaches, yet they share a commitment to craftsmanship and expressive power. As part of this initiative, we will donate 5% of all sales from the International Women's Day Collection during the month of March to The Little Orange House by Warc Africa, an organization working to lift rural communities out of poverty by connecting smallholder farmers, 42% of them women, to markets, providing training and infrastructure, and creating sustainable income opportunities. Warc is helping thousands of families to strengthen their livelihoods.

THOMAS SCHÜTTE

Opening: 14 March 2026

Recognized as one of the most important German artists of his generation, Thomas Schütte has developed a wide-ranging practice spanning sculpture, architecture, drawing, installation and printmaking. While best known for his sculptural work, printmaking plays a central role in his art. His etchings demonstrate technical experimentation and a fluid interplay between print, drawing and painterly mark-making.
