Attila Wittmer
Much like Michelangelo Pistoletto, who in his mirror works simultaneously makes us the viewer and performer, Wittmer plays a game with us about our own recognizability. For him, the head is a neuroanatomical cosmos. He is world, wound, weapon. His portraits show the echo of a society that no longer listens, but only transmits.
