About Erika Richter

Erika Richter (born 1994 in Dresden, Germany) is a painter and visual artist whose work also extends into printmaking. A graduate and Meisterschülerin of the Hochschule für Bildende Künste Dresden, she explores structures and transformations found in nature through both paint and print. Her etchings and aquatints complement her painterly approach, translating the same sensitivity to surface and tone into graphic form. Richter has exhibited widely across Germany, establishing herself as part of a younger generation of Dresden-based artists.
